No, it isn't Serena v. Victoria or Novak v. David, although those matches are certainly watchable and could possibly evolve into exciting matches as there are clear favorites in Serena and Djoko. But the MoD is clearly Tomas Berdych v. Andy Murray. Berdych owns a 4-2 career advantage over the Scot, although in their most recent hard court outdoor encounter in Dubai, Murray won in straight sets. This is a match more than any that will test Murray's conversion into a hard-hitting champion. The way Berdych is raking the ball and putting enormous pressure on his opponents's second serves, Murray will not be able to play a defensive baseline game. He's going to have to play like his coach and hit Berdych off the court. Which we clearly saw Roger Federer was incapable of doing. I just like Berdych. We all thought this would be Murray's Coming Out Party, but instead I think it could be Berdych's. The tall and powerful Czech is playing "in the zone" tennis while Murray is still feeling for his game after receiving scares from Lopez and Cilic. Berdych in 4 sets.
